Dr Michael Mandikos
Dr Michael Mandikos is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics. Michael received his Bachelor of Dental Science Degree with Honours, from the University of Queensland and in 1998 he completed a three-year residency program at the State University of New York at Buffalo (USA), graduating with a Certificate in Prosthodontics and Masters Degree in Biomaterials. His research was in composite resin materials and he has published several papers in Australian and international journals on clinical and dental materials topics. Michael was admitted as a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and aside from his private practice, Michael is a Visiting Specialist Prosthodontist to the University of Queensland Dental School and formerly to the Royal Australian Air Force. He is a Reviewer for several dental journals, and a product evaluator for several dental companies. Michael has presented continuing education programs at Dental meetings throughout Australia, Southeast Asia and the USA.
PROF DAVID ROESSLER
Prof David Roessler has spent most of his career as a Prosthodontist in private practice in Sydney’s CBD. In 2020, David moved to Auckland to be the Clinical Director of an all new Facility built by the University of Otago, Faculty of Dentistry. The facility has been designed for Final Year students, Postgrads and to deliver state of the art CPD to dentists. David has been a Keynote Speaker at many international conferences and has given more than 1000 lectures, workshops and hands on courses in almost every facet of restorative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, aesthetic and implant dentistry in Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA. He has authored numerous publications and has been an invited lecturer and examiner to both undergraduate and graduate students at a number of Universities as well as being an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He is a consultant and a trainer for several dental companies.
PROF VESNA MILETIC
Prof Vesna Miletic is Professor and Director of Restorative Dentistry and Director of Academic Career Development at the University of Sydney, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Sydney Dental School. Prof. Miletic is also Adjunct Senior Scientist at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, The Houston Center for Biomaterials and Biomimetics (USA) and Visiting Professor at University of Belgrade School of Dental Medicine (Serbia). She has more than 20 years of clinical practice, research and teaching in dentistry, particularly restorative dentistry and endodontics. Her research interests involve all aspects of restorative dental materials and more recently innovations in dental education. Prof. Miletic has more than 100 bibliographic references (scientific papers, book chapters, conference presentations, invited talks), co-authored 4 national patents and supervised 8 completed PhD and 1 MPhil theses. She is currently supervising 7 HDR students. Prof. Miletic is an expert evaluator for the European Research Agency and editorial board member in three leading dental journals. She is also Fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials (FADM) and Senior Fellow of Advanced HE (SFHEA). She was awarded several international and national awards for excellence, including the IADR Centennial Emerging Leader Award in 2020.
DR DAVID ROBERTS
Dr David Roberts is a past President of the Queensland branch of the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Australian Osseointergration Society and the current president of the Bennett Movement Dental Study Club. David completed his Bachelor qualification in 1991, graduating with first class honors and four academic awards in his final year. Prior to this he had accepted a commission from the Royal Australian Navy and on graduation took up his position as a Dental officer and served at numerous locations in Australia and with the United Nations in Rwanda. David commenced his full time Masters study in 1996 and graduated in 1998. After completing his specialist training he served his remaining time with the Navy in Canberra and Brisbane. David has been an examiner and lecturer at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Queensland Dental School and the Griffith University Dental School and he has lectured extensively on Prosthodontics and Dental Implants throughout Australia and internationally. Since 2000, he has conducted a Specialist Prosthodontic practice in South Brisbane and Camp Hill and he has a special interest in full arch implant supported restorations and CADCAM integration in Prosthodontics.
DR JUSTIN BOULTON
Dr Justin Boulton regularly lectures nationally on a range of aesthetic dentistry and Prosthodontic topics. Presently, Justin teaches part-time in the postgraduate Prosthodontic Masters Degree at the University of Queensland Dental School and maintains a private prosthodontic practice in Brisbane. He completed an undergraduate degree in 1986 and postgraduate degree in 1992 at the University of Queensland. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International College of Dentists.
